Harvest Moon w/ Music

I hope this couple had a thoroughly romantic evening under the "super" harvest moon last night.  *Here's* the music that should have accompanied the evening.  It's Neil Young's "Harvest Moon".  Play it and be transported to a bonfire by the sea.

In the second picture, the lifeguards were shutting down for the evening, and I got this pic as finished their duties.

Okay, my link didn't change colors as it was meant to, so click on the word "Here's" above to play music!

  1. Hi Barb, when I lived in Coronado, the rules about fire on the beach were changing. We had to get permission to build a fire...and at one time it was nearly impossible to obtain. But isn't it lovely to imagine the romantic evening watching the water near a warming fire?

  2. Barb, I'm so glad you found my blog! I love meeting other San Diegans. And your photos are fantastic. Coronado has been one of my favorite places to visit since I first moved here. I only wish I could afford a cute little cottage on the island. Since you seem so familiar with the place, I have to ask -- that little gazebo in the park that gets lit up at night, are there ever cute bands that play there? I keep thinking there has to be some sort of old fashioned town party that must happen.
